Racing has begun and two year olds go to the gate for the first time at Scarborough Downs and Bangor Raceway.

 

 

 

 

On June 3rd at Scarborough Downs the Athearn Stable came out strong with two wins. Justcallmedee, a Deuce Seelster filly pacer, won in 2:04.1 driven by Matthew Athearn and Mouthpiece, a Noble Venture colt trotter, won in 2:13 driven by Matthew Athearn.

 

 

 

 

 


 

On June 5th at Bangor Raceway from the Grondin Stable, Pembroke Dancer, a CR Power Glide filly trotter, won in 2:11.4 driven by Heath Campbell. Maine sired Cab Bearnaise, a Shady Character filly pacer, finishing second to a Maritime Bred, Artsleek, in 2.04.3 trained and driven by Michael Downey.
